Club sponsorship

Sponsor student clubs directly, through a verified route

Uninexus is where university student clubs run their members, events and budgets. Brands can already open a sponsor account and have their organization verified. The sponsor panel will then let them find those clubs, offer a package for an event that is still being planned and see afterwards how many people came, without ever receiving a list of students.

What sponsorship on Uninexus is

Sponsorship on Uninexus is an agreement between a brand and a student club around one specific event. The brand supports the event with money, products or a service, and in return its logo appears on the event's announcement, where the students who follow that club see it.

It is deliberately narrow. There are no banner ads, no targeting of individual students and no sale of data. A brand reaches students only through the clubs they chose to follow, and only at the events the club agreed to.

How it works for brands

Brands have their own accounts, separate from student accounts, and a sponsor panel of their own. The path from sign-up to a finished event takes six steps:

  1. Open a sponsor account for your brand and invite your colleagues.
  2. Uninexus staff review the brand by hand before it can send any offer.
  3. Browse clubs and the events they are preparing, by university and by topic.
  4. Send the club an offer built from the packages it lists for that event.
  5. Agree on the details with the club's committee inside the panel.
  6. After the event, read a report with registration and check-in totals.

Every step leaves a record in the panel, so a colleague who takes over the sponsorship later can see what was offered, what the club accepted and what was delivered.

Verified on both sides

A brand account can send offers only after Uninexus staff have checked that it really represents the brand it names. Clubs carry their own label: a club founded on Uninexus shows as a Uninexus club, and a club its university lists can ask staff to confirm it as an official club, which then shows a seal on its page.

Staff check this evidence by hand. Nothing is confirmed automatically from an email domain or a form, so the label a brand sees next to a club means that someone actually looked.

Events that are still being planned

Sponsorship works best before the posters are printed. Clubs will be able to mark an upcoming event as open to sponsors and describe the packages they offer, such as a logo on the announcement, a stand at the event or a main sponsor slot. Brands see these events while there is still time to plan together.

The club decides which events are open to sponsors, which packages exist and whether to accept an offer. A club can decline an offer or leave it unanswered; nothing is sponsored without the committee agreeing to it.

Reports with totals, never people

After the event the brand receives a report built from what the club already records on Uninexus: how many students registered, and how many were checked in at the door with their QR ticket.

The report contains totals only. It never includes names, email addresses, phone numbers or any other detail about the students who came, and brands cannot message a club's members.

Payments stay outside Uninexus for now

Uninexus does not move money. When a brand and a club agree, they settle the sponsorship between themselves, by invoice or bank transfer as they would today, and the club can record the income in its Uninexus budget.

The panel keeps the agreement, the packages and the report together, so both sides refer to the same record even though the money itself changes hands elsewhere.

What clubs get

For a committee, sponsorship usually means cold emails, lost threads and a sponsor asking for a report nobody prepared. On Uninexus the offer arrives in the club's workspace, the officers who handle money see it, and the report is produced from the event's own registrations and check-ins.

Clubs keep control: they choose the events and the packages, accept or decline offers and never have to hand over their member list. Uninexus stays free for student clubs.
